Introduction
The second largest city in Spain this city is a stunning mixture of Baroque buildings and ancient alleys, broad palm-lined boulevards and amazing architectural landmarks designed by Anotonio Gaudi. One of the most famous sights in Barcelona is the Sagrada Familia Cathedral which, despite remaining an unfinished structure, still draws massive crowds every yearOther famous sights include the 1992 Olympic Stadium, the Imax cinema of the Port Vell, several kilometers of newly formed beaches and a buzzing nightlife around the Olympic area. Tibidabo amusement park and Parc Guell are in the city. Also nearby are the mountain of miracles Montserrat and the Port Aventura theme park. Barcelona boasts a vast variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and fast food eateries - offering Catalonian local specialities such as Lobster Catalan, butifarra sausage casserole to all other international foods. ,Barcelona is the second largest city of Spains followed by Madrid and one of the few great European cities by the sea.
